How to deactivate ‘book’ feature to encourage social distancing (and enable call and online consult)

In light of the current COVID-19 outbreak, if you wish to deactivate the book feature for your practice, here are the steps you can follow. You can also enable ‘online consult’ for individual doctors to provide consultations to patients via chat, call or video. 

  • Head over to your Profile dashboard > under Settings > click on ‘Deactivate Book’. This will automatically shift your entire practice to Call.

  • You have the option of enabling and disabling the ‘Call feature’ (if you already haven’t done so) for each doctor in a practice by selecting the ’’Call’ option corresponding to each doctor. 

Alternatively, you can contact your account manager to disable ‘Book’ and enable the ‘Call’ feature.

  • You can also offer online consultation – via chat, call or video call – to patients. It will be activated on your profile and patients can reach out to you with their queries. If you would like to register to give online consultations, please click here.
